What you need to know

To help your child have a fun, safe and smooth day at Pickle Power Kids, we’ve put together a few important things for parents and carers to know before arriving.

Activities

Designed for children aged 6 to 15, our program blends racquetball, games and creative play

Session times

School holiday program:

Drop off at 9am, pick up at 12pm

8-Week Term program:

Weekly 1hr classes

What to bring

Activewear, runners, water bottle, snacks. Pickleball paddles and all equipment provided

We have 3 locations to choose from: Braybrook, Sunshine West and Ravenhall

First tournament. First win. 💥
Day 1 at the Victorian Pickleball Championships 2026 hosted by @pickleballvictoria was a big learning experience for Pickle Power Kids junior, Francis.
Like many first tournaments, it didn’t start easy. Francis opened his U18 Boys Singles campaign with a couple of tough matches while adjusting to the pace, pressure and tournament environment.
But he stayed composed, kept learning each match… and finished the day with his first tournament win. 🙌
That breakthrough moment is huge. Getting that first win under your belt builds belief, momentum and confidence - exactly what you want heading into Day 2.

First up: balancing the ball on the paddle while weaving around cones.
It might look simple, but this is a crucial beginner skill.

Why? It builds paddle control, improves hand–eye coordination and teaches kids to move with the ball (not just hit it!)
