Tournament Round at Pickle Power Kids!
March 2–15
Our Tournament Round us coming up during the Term 1 Pickle Power Kids program, running from March 2–15, and they’re all about celebrating effort, growth, and having fun on court.
Across these two weeks, kids will take part in friendly match play designed to build confidence, teamwork, and game awareness in a supportive environment. Matches are grouped by age and ability, so every child feels challenged andsuccessful.
This isn’t about pressure or winning at all costs - it’s about:
-
Putting skills learned throughout the term into real game situations
-
Learning sportsmanship, scoring, and match etiquette
-
Building motivation and resilience through play
-
Having fun competing with friends
Medals and recognition will be awarded to acknowledge each child’s progression, improvement, and positive attitude — because effort matters just as much as results.
Tournament Round us always a highlight of the term and a great way for kids to finish strong, feel proud of their progress, and get excited about what’s next in their pickleball journey.
Game on!

School Holiday Program Planning Underway
April 6 to April 17
We’re excited to share that plans are already underway for our end of Term 1 School Holiday Pickle Power Kids program — and if past programs are anything to go by, it’s going to be another big hit.
Our holiday sessions are always a favourite with parents: active, well-structured, and a great way for kids to stay engaged during the break while building confidence and new skills. For us, they’re also one of the best ways to welcome a brand-new group of kids onto the court and introduce pickleball to first-timers in a fun, low-pressure environment.
These programs are designed for:
-
Kids trying pickleball for the very first time
-
Players wanting extra court time during the holidays
-
Friends and siblings keen to jump in together
With plenty of games, skill-building activities, and lots of encouragement, it’s the perfect entry point into the Pickle Power Kids pathway — and often where new pickleballers discover their next favourite sport.
More details coming soon… keep an eye out, as spots usually fill fast! 🏓
